Company
Strategia Informatica is the sole proprietorship of Roberto Dal Brun, active since 2003 in Montecchio Maggiore, in the province of Vicenza, Italy.
The work has changed a great deal in twenty years, but the approach has not: whoever calls us has a single point of contact, who listens to the problem, follows the work through to the end, looks after its documentation and answers when something goes wrong.
We work for industrial companies, for distribution, for public transport, for services and for those who run critical infrastructure. When a project requires it we work with trusted collaborators and, on the largest projects, together with other companies, each doing their part; we say so from the start.
Most of the work is done remotely, through agreed and logged access; when we need to be on site, we are there.

How the map at the top is made
The map on the home page is not a decorative drawing. The lines are the contour lines of the terrain between Arzignano, Montecchio Maggiore, Vicenza and the Berici Hills, one every 25 metres of elevation, computed from the Copernicus GLO-30 digital elevation model (resolution of about 30 metres).
The terrain was lightly smoothed to remove noise, and the contours were extracted level by level and simplified to half a pixel, so the whole map weighs about 40 KB once compressed. The colour of each line follows the elevation: light blue on the plain, the blue of our logo in the mountains. It is a small example of the work we do with geographic data.
